In truth, there aren’t many features in Mega Sic Bac. We have Payout Boosters and side bets as the main boosters for gameplay outside the three main bets.

Payout Boosters

These are regular Multipliers that happen in every round. According to Pragmatic Play, every round has guaranteed Payout Boosters (one or more) that apply to randomly chosen betting options (both main and side bets). If the Payout Booster is applied to a betting position you have placed a wager on and it wins, you will receive the payout with the boost.

Side Bets

As this is a dice game, all side bets refer to the combination of dice results for two, three, and all four dice on the table. Hence, you can place a bet on the option of getting a Double (two matching), Triple (three matching), and Quad (four matching) dice results. These pay if the four dice at the end of the shake have the same outcome on two, three or four dice.

In other words, you can bet on Doubles, Triples, and Quads – on every specific number from 1 to 6, or Any Doubles, Any Triples, or Any Quads (which have a lower payout but a better chance to happen as they pay no matter what outcome was on the dice, as long as it’s the same on 2, 3 or all 4 dice.

Quads have the highest possible payout in the game, paying from 1000x to 5000x for 4 identical dice totals at the end of the shake.  The lowest payout is for Any Double side bets that pay 1:0.5.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH MEGA SIC BAC

We originally thought Mega Sic Bac will act the same as regualar Sic Bo games, so we did not have great expectations in terms of innovation. What we found once we got there was a bit of a surprise. Mega Sic Bac is not a Sic Bo game, nor a baccarat or Dragon Tiger game.

All in all, it’s very good. Gameplay is captivating and fun, you have side bets to amp the fun up when you get bored of main bets only, and there’s a decent chance to score a solid win. A good game in our books, and we think it’s going to be a popular one precisely because it mixes in elements from various games but never really commits to being a copy; rather an homage or inspiration that will appeal to a large audience.
