Game features in Stampede Gold include Wilds, Multiplier Wilds, Free Spins, and Golden Elephants.

The Wilds are the most basic game feature you can frequent in Stampede Gold. First of all, it replaces all icons on the grid except Scatters Landing Wilds transforms them into Multiplier Wilds. Upon landing, they reveal the Multiplier hidden (1x to 3x) If you have more than one, their values will multiply together to create a major Multiplier. These appear mostly on the three central reels. However, please keep in mind that during Free Spins, Wilds can randomly be upgraded to better Multipliers.

Now, Free Spins starts with the Scatters. The Acacia Tree Scatters land on the grid and unlock Free Games. Land 3, 4, or 5 Scatters to get 8, 15, or 20 Spins, respectively. A fantastic thing about the feature is that you can retrigger the Spins by landing additional Scatters. You get 2 or more Scatters, and you get 5, 8, 15, or 20 Spins more. Wilds are also upgraded to their 2x or 3x Multiplier Wild counterparts.

Lastly, we have the Golden Elephant feature. This is a classic symbol upgrade feature. It all starts with the Golden Elephant symbols which are collected into a meter during Free Games. As you progress with the meter, you unlock benefits – or in this case, symbol upgrades. There are 15 symbols to be collected in total, which fills the meter to the brim and transforms all giraffes into The Elephant. Gather fewer, and you will see how other animals are transformed into the Elephant too.

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH STAMPEDE GOLD

Stampede Gold did not invent the wheel, and it’s no the greatest invention since sliced bread. But you want to know what the game is for sure? It’s great. It’s fun, entertaining, and cute to look at, which makes it a great choice for us.

We loved the payout, as well as the mix of special features. Sure, Free Spins are quite an established game feature, but we are certain players would riot should game studios find other ways to entertain them and cut free spins out of slots. We would riot, let alone the players.

However, it’s always fun to see other game boosters included in the game. Golden Elephant is such a classy, inconspicuous feature but it has a lot of potential. It’s fantastic for bringing up the winnings.
