Wildest Gambit comes with three types of Wilds appearing in certain locations. The fourth location, Egypt, can be unlocked only if you unlock Free Spins in all three previous locations. There’s also a Free Spins round that you can explore.

Locations & Wilds

The game is played in 4 different locations. Three of them are unlocked, and it’s possible to switch from one to the other whenever you want. However, the final one, Egypt is locked, and takes a lot of effort to be unlocked.

Each destination boasts a distinct type of Wild. Moreover, for every location you have a main feature and a secondary, supporting one that also occasionally appears. Features are represented by members of Wilde family (but they do not appear in the game so don’t expect too much).

• Chile: Multiplier Wilds (2x, 4x, 8x) are the main game feature, led by Rich. Cat’s feature is the supporting one. She has the power to upgrade Multiplier Wilds to Expanding Wilds.
• Peru: Expanding Wilds are the focus here, led by Cat. Gerard’s feature is Sticky Wilds, and it is the secondary feature in Peru, upgrading Expanding Wilds to Sticky Wilds. This also triggers Respins.
• India: Sticky Wilds, led by Gerard, are the main feature. Rich is there with his feature to upgrade the Sticky Wilds to Multiplier Wilds during Respins.
• Egypt: Finally, it is available only after triggering Free Spins in every other location. In Egypt, all Wilds are active –Multiplier, Sticky, and Expanding Wilds.

Do we consider this to be the best Wilde game out there? No. But is it the most fun out of all Wilde games that came in 2024? Also no, but it’s up there with the best of them.

All in all, Wildest Gambit offers an engaging mix of Wild symbol mechanics and Free Spins with a huge winning potential. Moreover, the thematic locations and their tailored features kept the gameplay dynamic, and they definitely were the highlight for everyone that tried the game out.

Yes, unlocking Egypt required patience. But if it were easy, it would be boring.  The visuals and soundtrack captured the adventurous spirit, while the medium-high volatility balanced consistent rewards with thrilling big-win possibilities.
